چکیده

Three previously unknown high-energy g-ray transitions between 4.2 and 5.4 MeV were identified in the Tz=−1/2 nucleus Fe following the fusion-evaporation reaction SsSi,2a1nd51Fe. These transitions represent decays of core excited states. The g rays were detected in the Ge detector array Gammasphere combined with the neutron detector system Neutron Shell and the charged-particle array Microball. The three transitions are related to the mirror transitions in the Tz= +1/2 nucleus Mn, and the resulting mirror-energy difference diagram is discussed with predictions from large-scale shell-model calculations.

Stability Analysis in Parametrically Excited Electrostatic Torsional Micro-actuators

This paper addresses the static and dynamic stabilities of a parametrically excited torsional micro-actuator. The system is composed of a rectangular micro-mirror symmetrically suspended between two electrodes and acted upon by a steady (dc ) while simultaneously superimposed to an (ac ) voltage. First, the stability of the system subjected to a quasi-statically applied (dc ) voltage is investi...

Microscopic Parameters in the Excited State of Toluene and Some of Its Haloderavatives

The Ultraviolet-visible (UV) spectra of toluene, ortho-bromo and para-bromo toluene in different solvents have been studied. The electric dipole moments and polarizabilities in the molecular excited electronic states were determined. It was found that the electric dipole moments for the excited states (µ*) and the ground states (µ) of these compounds are equal, and the change in dipole moment i...

Isospin symmetry breaking in mirror nuclei

Isospin symmetry is one of the fundamental symmetries we can identify in nuclei. This is related to the approximate charge symmetry and charge independence of the strong interaction. On this hypothesis, the level schemes of mirror nuclei (with exchanged number of protons and neutrons) should be identical. Of course some differences appear due to the fact that the Coulomb interaction breaks isos...

N by Elastic Resonance Scattering in Inverse Kinematics

In some nuclei along the drip-line, for example the exotic nuclei Be, an energy level inversion between the 2s1⁄2 and 1p1⁄2 states occurs. Interest in the mirror state of Be on the proton rich side, N, resulted in a continuation of an earlier study searching for resonances in this nucleus. This experiment involved the resonance scattering reaction C + p in inverse kinematics performed at the NS...

نقش شکست تقارن بار در اختلاف انرژی بستگی هسته‌های آینه‌ای 15O-15N و 17F-17O

Charge symmetry breaking potentials due to the exchange of pseudoscalar and vector mesons in mirror nuclei are considered. With the computation of coulmb energy along with the present charge symmetry breaking effects provide a reasonably accurate description of the binding energy differences between mirror nuclei.
